Tai Chi and Self Defence with Hans Menck
Find your physical body thriving with expert guidance of Hans Menck in realms of Tai Chi, contact improvisation and breathwork. Many of the sessions are held in stunning nature of Cape Town’s landscapes.

In this practice we focus on health: Tai Chi is soft, flowing movement that reduces stress, improves balance, and stimulates energy (qi) without overstraining the body.

Weekly timetable with Hans Menck


Led by Sensei Hans Menck, master of internal gongfu, contact improvisation, and martial arts with weekly private classes for personal feedback and skill development.

The practice includes forms, breathwork (qigong), partner exercises and "push-hands" — a sensitivity drill where you learn to feel energy and balance.

17.30-18.30 Drumming Circle with sensei

7.00-8.30 Beach Sunrise Movement and Swim (transportation included)

THURSDAY

Conscious Dance with Nadia and local community of dancers 18.00-20.30

FRIDAY

7.00-8.30 Thai Chi/Contact Improv Group training with sensei

12.00-16.00 Sensei is available for private classes

18.00 - 22.00 Cape Town Cultural and Nature experience Fridays 18.00

SATURDAY

Full day trip and outdoor training in stunning locations around Cape Peninsula, Cape Winelands and safari destination.

SUNDAY

Day off. Enjoy kayaking from the house, or go for a surf
