Agreement on space and cohabitation

We are creating a space grounded in respect, mindfulness, mutual support, and care for people, animals, and the Earth. By living in or participating in the life of this space, each person agrees to uphold the following principles.

Respect for the uniqueness of each person

Everyone arrives with their own history, experience, perspectives, and path in life.

We do not judge, criticise, or offer unsolicited advice.

We strive to listen to one another with care, respect, and openness.

Confidentiality

Personal stories, experiences, and processes that people share within the space remain within the community.

We do not share personal information about others without their consent.

Consent and personal boundaries

All physical contact happens only by mutual consent.

Hugs, touch, and somatic practices are never assumed to be welcome by default.

The word "no" is always received calmly and with respect.

Participation and co-creation

We see this space not only as a place to live, but as a living community shaped by the collective contributions of all its members.

We encourage everyone to express their talents, interests, knowledge, and creativity through workshops, practices, circles, music evenings, dance, learning gatherings, shared celebrations, and other initiatives.

Every participant has the right to propose and organise an event that can enrich the life of the community.

We also support the expression of others through our presence, participation, attention, and genuine interest. While joining any specific event is always voluntary, we recognise the value of mutual support and strive to contribute to a vibrant, inspiring, and nourishing atmosphere.

We believe that a community grows richer when people not only receive, but also share what they love and know how to do.

Mindful communication

We speak from our own perspective and about our own experience.

We avoid gossip, passive aggression, insults, and talking about people behind their backs.

When tension or misunderstanding arises, we aim to address it directly, honestly, and respectfully.

Respect for emotional wellbeing

Strong emotions and deep inner processes may arise within the space.

Each person takes responsibility for their own emotional state and seeks support when needed.

We support one another through presence and attention — not by trying to fix, rescue, or control.

Care for the shared space

We treat the house, garden, shared areas, equipment, and the belongings of others with respect.

After using shared spaces, we leave them clean, tidy, and ready for the next person.

Everyone cleans up after themselves immediately after using the kitchen, bathroom, studios, halls, and other communal areas.

If something is damaged, we communicate this openly and take responsibility for resolving the situation.

Shared responsibility for the space

This space exists through the contribution of everyone in it.

All participants take part in maintaining cleanliness and order, including regular cleaning of shared areas, sorting waste, and other necessary household tasks.

We do not pass responsibility for the shared space onto others.

Ecological responsibility

We strive to live with respect for the Earth and to minimise our ecological footprint.

Each participant sorts their own waste according to the space's recycling guidelines.

We use water, electricity, materials, and other resources mindfully.

We aim to reduce single-use packaging and support reuse, recycling, and composting wherever possible.

Ethical treatment of animals and food

We do not support cruelty to animals and strive to make more ethical choices around food.

Only meat, eggs, and other animal products sourced from free-range animals or comparable ethical sources may be brought into the space.

Storing or consuming products linked to intensive factory farming — where animals are kept in conditions that restrict their natural behaviour — is not welcome and is not permitted in this space.

We respect diverse dietary preferences while upholding the community's shared ethical stance on animal welfare.

Respect for quiet and rest

We recognise that rest and recovery are an important part of community life.

During evening and night hours we maintain a calm atmosphere, except for pre-arranged events with DJs, music, and dancing.

When we feel like socialising, playing music, or being active, we remain mindful of others' needs.

Movement, dance, and embodied presence

Dance is one of the core values of this space and one of the most natural ways of self-expression, self-exploration, and connection between people.

We especially encourage conscious movement practices, including Ecstatic Dance, Conscious Dance, Contact Improvisation, authentic movement, and other forms of free dance and somatic exploration.

We welcome people for whom movement, music, and embodied presence are a natural language — as well as those who are open to exploring these practices for the first time.

Regular participation in dance practices is expected, and is regarded as a meaningful contribution to the living, creative, and connected atmosphere of the community.

We support one another in the courage to show up, move freely, explore new ways of self-expression, and bring our unique gifts into the shared space.

Alcohol, cannabis, and psychoactive substances

We support an atmosphere of mindfulness, presence, and respect.

The use of alcohol, cannabis, and psychoactive substances is a personal choice. No one has the right to interfere with, judge, or comment on another person's choices, as long as that use does not compromise the safety, comfort, or wellbeing of others in the space.

During group practices, we ask everyone to refrain from their use.

Personal responsibility

Each person makes their own decisions regarding their participation in the life of the space and takes responsibility for their own physical, emotional, and psychological state.

Our shared agreement

We are creating a space where people can be themselves without needing to conform to the expectations of others.

A space where people can be heard, seen, and accepted.

A space of freedom, respect, honesty, responsibility, ecological awareness, and care for life in all its expressions.
