Benjamin J Sperry
Your host in Cape Town:

Your host, Nadia Ring, has BA in Psychology and Masters in The Studies of Religions from UCT. She is an ecstatic dance DJ offering New Moon ecstatic dances for Cape Town community since 2019. She loves working with clay and is offering art classes in clay sculpture for the residents of Eco Villa and a few women from the township community. Her creative inspirations, normal routines, and work are informed by indigenous philosophies and balancing relationships with the Earth.

She crafted a space that reflects her striving for beauty, creativity, and a nature-oriented way of being.

She found two methods to be especially powerful: conscious dance and clay sculpture — two beautiful modalities that capture the ineffable part of reality, both in the moment and in the body of the Earth.

In the past, she owned a thriving travel company and worked as a professional tour guide. Her knowledge of Cape Peninsula, tourist routes, hiking routes and routes less explored provides an invaluable addition to the coliving experience.

She truly believes that when paired with like-minded people, her space creates a resonance for transformation and deeper connection with Africa and mother Earth.

Greenhouse is more than accommodation. It is a conscious co-living community and creative retreat space for people who value nature, movement, meaningful connection, personal growth, ecological responsibility, and community living.

Life here often includes shared meals, conscious dance, creative projects, outdoor adventures, and conversations that matter.
Probably not.

Greenhouse is best suited to people who enjoy community living, appreciate diversity, respect shared spaces, and are interested in personal growth, creativity, movement, nature, and ecological living. It takes some effort to be eco-conscious.

Those seeking a conventional hotel experience, complete privacy, or travel consumerism may find another type of accommodation more suitable.
Greenhouse is guided by ecological values and respect for all forms of life.

Residents are expected to:
  • Sort and separate their own waste according to the house recycling system.
  • Participate in keeping shared spaces clean and welcoming.
  • Use water, electricity, and resources mindfully.
  • Minimize single-use plastics whenever possible.
  • Respect the gardens, wildlife, and natural environment.
We also maintain an animal welfare policy. Guests may only bring or store meat, eggs, and other animal products that come from free-range or ethically raised sources. Products originating from intensive factory farming systems are not permitted within the house.

Our goal is conscious living and a sincere effort to reduce harm to people, animals, and the Earth.
Yes. Greenhouse thrives through participation and shared experiences.

Residents are encouraged to contribute their talents through workshops, music, movement sessions, shared meals, discussions, creative projects, or community gatherings.

Conscious Dance, Ecstatic Dance, Contact Improvisation, and other forms of embodied movement are especially valued within the community. Participation is encouraged, and many residents find these practices to be one of the most enriching aspects of life at Greenhouse.
